Service Description

Mindful In Bloom is an official Training Partner with the Canadian Red Cross since 2021. Our Standard First Aid and CPR/AED course offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Our therapists use real-life experiences, open-discussion methods, in-text references and videos to ensure all learners understand the assigned material. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. We offer 1 day in-person Standard First Aid and CPR-C recertification courses and 2-day in person Standard First Aid and CPR-C Full certification. Please note: individuals who hold a valid 3-year Standard First Aid and CPR-C Certificate are eligible to take the 1-day recertification course as per Canadian Red Cross policies. Completion Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps; 100% attendance and participation; 75% min. passing grade on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation; and adherence to the Fundamental Principles of First Aid. Certification 3-year certification in Standard First Aid, CPR Level A or C, and AED Note: This Standard First Aid & CPR-C course is dedicated to a group structure and is only open for small or large groups of people, inclusive of child care staff, child and youth care practitioners, small businesses, community-based organizations, corporate teams and likewise.
